Welcome to Desi Dental. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of dental and oral health services by Desi Dental to you.
By booking an appointment, attending consultations, receiving treatment, or using any of our services at Desi Dental, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
We recommend that you read these Terms carefully and keep a copy for your records.
1. Services Provided
Desi Dental is a private dental clinic offering a wide range of general, cosmetic, restorative, preventive, and specialized dental treatments. All services are provided by qualified, licensed dentists and dental staff in accordance with applicable Philippines laws and professional standards.
Services are provided based on clinical assessment and mutually agreed treatment plans. We do not guarantee specific clinical outcomes, as results depend on individual factors including oral health, compliance with aftercare, and lifestyle.
2. Appointments and Cancellations
- All appointments must be scheduled in advance.
- We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled treatment cost (or a minimum administrative fee as displayed at reception).
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension of future booking privileges or requirement of a deposit for subsequent appointments.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, equipment failure). In such cases, we will offer alternative times or a full refund of any prepaid fees.
3. Payment Terms
- Fees for consultations, treatments, and materials are charged according to our current price list, available at reception and on our website (subject to change with notice).
- Payment is due at the time of service unless a written payment plan has been agreed in advance.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, major credit/debit cards, and mobile payments. A surcharge may apply for certain payment methods.
- For complex or high-value treatments (e.g., implants, orthodontics, full-mouth rehabilitation), a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment slot.
- Outstanding balances may accrue late payment interest and/or collection fees.
4. Treatment Plans and Estimates
- Treatment plans and cost estimates are provided based on information available at the time of consultation.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Actual costs may vary due to unforeseen clinical findings, changes in treatment needs, material price fluctuations, or additional procedures required for your safety and optimal outcome.
- Any significant change in cost will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.
5. Informed Consent
- Before any treatment, you will receive explanations of the proposed procedure(s), alternatives, material risks, benefits, limitations, and expected outcomes.
- By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you have understood this information and give your informed consent.
- You may withdraw consent at any time before or during treatment (subject to any already-incurred costs).
6. Aftercare and Patient Responsibilities
- You agree to follow all post-treatment instructions provided by our team, including oral hygiene, medication usage, dietary restrictions, and attendance at follow-up visits.
- Failure to comply with aftercare may compromise treatment results and may void any warranty or guarantee offered for certain procedures.
- We offer limited warranties on specific restorative work (e.g., crowns, veneers, bridges) — details will be provided in your treatment plan or warranty document.
7. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Desi Dental shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from dental treatment.
- Our total liability for any claim related to services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific treatment giving rise to the claim.
- We are not responsible for outcomes affected by factors outside our control (e.g., pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed, patient non-compliance, accidents, or normal wear and tear).
8. Privacy and Personal Data
Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy (available on our website). We collect, use, and protect your data solely for purposes of treatment, payment, clinic operations, and legal obligations.
9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We are committed to high-quality care. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please raise it with our team as soon as possible. We have a formal complaints procedure — details are available at reception or on request.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Philippines, and governed by the laws of Philippines.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
